Technology
The A.I. industry is perhaps not changing as fast as it did in the 1980's and 90's when AI usage in Manitoba went from less than 1% to the over 85% we see now, and still there are always improvements and changes. We have come a long ways since the semen was extended in a garage sink, poured out with a pitcher, and the lids screwed onto the bottles. But then we have gone from 20 Units a day to over 2000 as well. Today we utilize automated equipment and computers to give precise readings on sperm concentrations, automated dispensing pumps to add the extender, and a dispensing, sealing and labeling machine to put it to a finished product. From there it goes into a cooler room to be chilled to storage temperature, after which it is put into thermal resistant packaging and sent out.
